Brevard County has an exciting new school of choice for high school students serious about the arts. Satellite HS Academy of Fine Arts (SAFA) is hosting open house for potential students and their parents at the high school on Jan. 27, 2009, 7-9 PM. Applications for the SAFA program are available at the Satellite High School's website and are due on February 13, 2009 for the 2009-2010 school year.  Students can apply for a concentration in the areas of theatre, visual arts, vocal music or instrumental music.  Call Satellite High School at 779-2000 or visit http://scorpnet.brevard.k12.fl.us/  for more information.
